Super Blood Moon

On Sunday night (Sept 27), there was a “Super Blood Moon”. A Super Blood Moon is a combination of phenomenon (Supermoon1 and Blood Moon2). A supermoon happens when the moon is closest to earth in its orbit. A blood moon frequently happens with a Lunar Eclipse. When the two happen to coincide, you get a reddish moon that looks larger than normal. The last Super Blood Moon happened in 1982, and the next one won’t happen until 2033.
