The second Adira’s Hafla, and the last dance performance before we move to Vancouver, WA. Testing out my new Giottos MM9780 Monopod. I was able to shoot for 2hrs straight and no sore arm! It supports up to 33lbs so there is quite a lot of room to grow, should I need a bigger lens (and who doesn’t?) The ‘pod was very stable, easy to use, and adjust with simple twist-lock. The foot is adjustable, screw the rubber foot on farther, and it reveals a metal spike to help provide additional traction for rock or dirt. Unscrew the rubber foot to hide the screw (it appears to catch at the end of its travel so you don’t have to worry about unscrewing it too far and having it fall off, nice touch).
