Back to Shoreline in Mountain View, CA for fireworks this year (likely the last as I’m moving to Vancouver, WA in a month). Quite the wait, almost 5hrs. Last year, being my first 4th of July with a camera, I focused on pictures of the fireworks themselves. This year, I focused on including the setting, in this case, the parking lot full of cars and a few trees. I think its definitely an improvement, it provides more context for the scene, as well as some reflective surfaces to give more illumination.
