Went to the Maker Faire this year.
As usual, there was lots of metal, fire and robots. Octopus and Moustache were out in force. Nearly everything for sale had at least one of them on it. Steam punk was quite popular this year as well. The steam powered engines were fun, this year they had a steam powered paddle boat.
