I was on my way to take a few photographs of the Mormon temple in Salt Lake City when I found these. I really like the way that the light plays with the water, and the way the EF 50mm f/1.4 bokeh looks.

I regretted not bringing the EF 16-35mm f/2.8 on my trip to Salt Lake City, UT when I started walking around the temple and got a better feel for the space. It’d been over 20yrs since I’d been there, and I’d forgotten what the layout was like. I still liked this angle of the temple though. Its interesting how much “natural light” there is, even at night. Enough to cause shadows which clearly define the structure and illuminate the details nicely.
